OAKVILLE, ON, Nov. 20 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - Algonquin Power Income Fund (the "Fund") (TSX:APF.UN) of Oakville, Ontario announced today that its Trustees have declared a cash distribution on its trust units. The distribution is $0.02 per trust unit payable on December 15, 2008 to the unitholders of record on November 28, 2008 for the period from November 01, 2008 to November 30, 2008.

The Fund has 77,496,713 units issued and outstanding which together with 2,121,159 units of Algonquin (AirSource) Power LP outstanding, results in an aggregate of 79,577,146 equivalent trust units issued and outstanding based on the exchange provisions applicable with respect to units of Algonquin (AirSource) Power LP.
