CMQ Appoints John Hogg as CEO Nov 20, 2008 6:18:00 PM CALGARY, Nov. 20 /CNW/ - "We are extremely pleased to announce John's transition from Vice President Exploration to Chief Executive Officer, a role for which he is well prepared" commented Dr. Odin Christensen, Director. John Hogg has been the Vice President Exploration of CMQ since January 2004. During this time he has had a direct and accountable relationship with the board of directors. His recommendations for exploration programs have been thorough and he has proven to be a careful steward of the Corporation's financial resources. The board credits the securing of CMQ's exploration opportunities for each of the Red Canyon and South Sleeper properties to John's exploration acumen and his sterling reputation in the industry.
Over his career, Mr. Hogg has over 35 years experience in mineral exploration, including 30 years in Nevada. Over 4 million ounces of gold were discovered at West Leeville, Four Corners and Hardie Footwall during his tenure as VP Exploration for Mr. Martin Lambert has provided CMQ his notice of intention to resign as Chief Executive Officer of CMQ, in order to accept the position of CEO for an entity outside of the mineral exploration business. There were no disagreements of any nature between Mr. Lambert and the Corporation. The Board of Directors would like to thank Mr. Lambert for his time, service, insightful advice and the valuable contributions he made during his tenure as CEO. We wish him well in his future endeavors.
